Flag Acts are laws that aim at defining the design of a nation’s flag.

The Thai Flag Act was signed into law in 1979 and was published in the Royal Thailand Gazette No. 96 Section 67 (special edition, page 1).

In Thai, it is known as พระราชบัญยัติธง พ.ศ. 2522. (The year 2522 refers to the Buddhist Era which is 543 years ahead of the Gregorian year.)

    4. the white stripes are 1 part wide next to each side of the deep blue stripes
